KoKoNo Restaurant Aalen in Aalen

Very tasty sushi, currently only to pick up! But that doesn't interfere with the enjoyment either. All in all, really good sushi, even the best I've had since my trip to Japan. The price is fair according to the quality.

Food is okay, but too expensive. Two more stars are deducted for the really unfriendly staff. That simply does not work.

The best surf n turf that I have ever tasted. Service was great. Ordered food, was ready super quickly and the staff was very friendly. With sushi you can tell that it was freshly prepared. I'm looking forward to the next visit, greetings from Munich

It didn't exactly suit my taste. It was okay. Price / performance also okay. Service was friendly. The food was way too salty (too sweet), unfortunately I couldn't quench my thirst with a homemade iced tea that was too sweet ...

Very high price level. Good variety of food. Relatively good quality. Unfortunately, the lunch menu cannot be viewed online. Among other things, the same starter platter was ordered twice. Unfortunately, these dishes were completely different. Coordination of the pickups was a total mess. Over 10 customers were at the same time in the already much too narrow dining room. There was nothing to be seen from a distance. Sometimes they waited for 30 minutes. No trace of the concept.

Very tasty food, nicely presented and sufficient portions, at least with the curry. Price is relatively high, but sushi simply costs a little more due to the expensive ingredients and the time-consuming preparation. There is a 2 star deduction for the rather unfriendly staff and the squeezed atmosphere. For the price, I don't expect a noise level like a crowded McDonald's

Just great, the food is very tasty and of high quality. It is arranged very lovingly and served by the very nice staff. We are sure to become regulars.

The quality is extremely good. The food looks really good and tastes just as wonderful. The staff was very nice, seems a bit overwhelmed, but during dinner time the restaurant was totally full, you can understand it. The drinks we had were very sweet, but that suits me. Even though the restaurant was so full, the waiting time was actually short. The cost isn't cheap, but it's worth it in my opinion. I can (and I will) recommend it.

Really delicious food. The rooms are very unusual and beautifully designed. The staff is very friendly. Take-away is possible, very convenient!

Very well prepared dishes, very fresh, interestingly seasoned and without flavor enhancers! ... attentive and friendly service! ... definitely the best "Hugo" ever ... with lots of fresh mint and a great mix ... "certainly not my last visit"

Very nice staff. Food is absolutely beautifully presented and tastes delicious. The highlight is the sushi. We will be back. Been there again yesterday. Sushi was great. It won't be long before we'll be back.

Simply a great restaurant. The food is excellent and the service very friendly. The restaurant is also extremely atmospheric. The professional structure with a good website and a clear menu is also great. I ordered something to pick up and the food was presented more coherently than in some restaurants on site on the plate. A great asset to the region.

I had heard and seen a lot about the Kokono and I was invited and excited. Reserved for 9 people, but a reservation was not found, okay, still found space in the outdoor area. Four have already been there and ordered the food when ordering drinks, the rest of us only ordered drinks, that was a big problem. He can't go on working like this, the waiter said, he'll have to wait until we have chosen. Take something. But we just wanted to see everything the first time. I recommended that he should cancel the meal again, because then he can take everything in afterwards. It didn't suit him, but was done. Drinks came, I had mint ginger iced tea, I had to dilute it with water because it just tasted like sugar. Then the first meals came, but here some were swapped and you didn't really know what was on the plates. Then there was a pause and 5 minutes came the remaining two, but he had three on hand. One was for the next table, but this was impractical at first, so he just put it on the bench next to the people at a completely different table! Does not work at all! Then my food. Very clear. There was also a small bowl on it, I thought for soy sauce, but then a waiter came and just took it down and put it on another plate at the next table. Taste? Duck was really good, rice too, but far too little sauce, very dry matter and sweet and sour there was nothing. Seasonal vegetables? So asparagus and cans of corn on the cob ... It was also lukewarm and the decorative cocktail sauce over the duck didn't fit. When clearing up, nobody asked how it was, nobody asked about drinks and so you just sat on dry land. So service is different and you can save yourself the flat Swabian jokes, rather good, brisk service and caution. The ambience outside as well as inside is extremely questionable and coffee shouldn't be drunk. I don't need the bar. For the prices you get Vietnamese food in large portions and first class in Berlin near Alexanderplatz!

There are 5 stars for the food - very tasty and good quality. Arranged and presented in a manner suitable for Instagram, if you value it. I have to subtract a star because it is very narrow and very loud inside. The next table was, in spite of all corona rules, only about 70cm away - that is not possible. The seating was also quite tight at the other tables. The waiter (older Asian) only used his mouth and nose mask as a mouth mask (nose was free). Very uncomfortable these days and, in my opinion, unprofessional. At the beginning, when we didn't know what we wanted to eat after 10 minutes (the menu was quite large and confusing), he told us very clearly that our reservation was only valid from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and that the other guests would come after that and we should decide what to eat. We found it very unfriendly. That could have been communicated more friendly. Unfortunately, I found the prices for food and drinks to be much too high in general, but another 1 star deduction. (Water 0.75l for 5.90 € and prosecco 0.1l also for 5.90 €)

Very nice ambience in the interior. The food tasted good and was well presented. Pleasant music was playing. All in all, we had a good time in the kokono. I can therefore recommend it.

The food was indescribably delicious and well presented. The price is reasonable for what you get. The waiting time was also ok. Contrary to some reviews, we particularly noticed the friendliness of the conditions (and that despite the full restaurant and the stress (!)). Really great !! You have definitely not seen us for the last time :))))

Very nicely decorated, nice staff, sushi also tasted good. Unfortunately there is little vegetarian or vegan to choose from. The curries e.g. are all cooked with milk in the sauce (a shame, since these could only be cooked with coconut milk). What is also missing are teas on the menu. A selection of Asian / Thai teas would have been nice. :) Overall still worth a visit.

Very Bad service, very bad food ?, that was my worst experience in Aalen, Go to Kaufland and buy from the Japanese kiosk, that's much better and u will save lots

Even during these hard times. Kokono is handling this situation great. The food quality is still great, and the sauce that goes with the sushi is delicious. Please keep supporting small businesses during this time!

I have not really experienced traditional sushi but if this is it, I'm gonna be an addict. incredible food. each dish carefully curated. fish was incredibly fresh tasting. servers for dishes and sale were so attentive. worth every penny.

Best quality-value sushi Restaurant in Aalen !Very good service, atmosphere. Food is really good. The preparation is awesome. Absolutely worth every penny! Will definitely be back!
